Abstract

Preliminary experiments where rpade on pigeons with an insoluble form of vitamin B1, the iodo-bismuthate of thiamine.Thiamine in this form did not lose its specific therapeutic effect. The duration of therapeutic effect of the oil suspension of iodo-bismuthate of thiamine, when freshly prepared, was slihtly greater than that of the aqueous solt.ition of thiamine hydroéhloride. These experiments will be continttéd.
