ESTUDO EPIDEMIOLÓGICO E ECONÔMICO-SOCIAL COMPARATIVO DE FAMíLIAS DE COR E DE BRANCOS

The authors study two family groups living under quite different conditions: the first grottp, of negroes with a standard of living much below the second composed of whites.Of the families had cases of tuberculosis. Taking in consideration the difference of social conditions the authors investigated the epidemiological indexes which were quite similar: in the cases of first infection. the morbidit, index of the blacks was 27,4% and of the whites 24,8%; in the cases of re-infection tuberculosis the index of morbidity among the blacks was 23%, and among the whites 27.1%. Such results check with these of our last work. and gve decisive evidence to contagious factor.Downloads
