Abstract

Based on a paradigmatic date, 1890, just when England sent an ultimatum to the Portuguese Crown ordering her to retreat from some areas of Central Africa, the author analyses upon a critical view the geopolitics took by England as well as the geostrategic of Lisbon and those who participants the trade of long distance. She also deals with the function of the missions that is an important point to the comprehension of the politics’ formation in the plateau of Angola.
