Abstract

The text constitutes a reflection about the attitudes of different governments postindependence and of the principal legal texts related to an ideological debate in relation to the capitalistic or socialistic perspectives that emerge from political practice with emphasis on the 1979 Nigerian Constitution and the performance of military governments.
