Abstract

This work treats very important questions on the existing crises between art and politics, communication (expression) and repression as well as the question of freedom as a requisite to artistic production. The role of arts as negation of sub-human condition imposed by the colonizers and the consequent conception of artistic expression as a way to regain the authentic mankind is emphasized and considered strongly.
