A política de assentamentos rurais do governo FHC e os desafios da reforma agrária no Brasil do século XXI

Abstract

The text aims to characterize FHC´s policy as anti-popular and neo-liberal with relation to agrarian reform, having as reference the external dependence, the privatization at the State’s expense, the financial system as a priority, growing of social inequalities and growing of unemployment.The text approaches also the challenges for agrarian reform in the twenty-first century.
