Abstract

The purpose of this work is the analyse the impact of the Green Revolution model in the reconfiguration of Mexican rural spaces, such as the changes in global technological processes for the application of the Green Revolution in the Mexican agrarian structure. To understand what’s the political, economic and social events were that favoured technological changes for the application of the Green Revolution, furthermore, it explains what happened to the alteration in the organization of the Mexican rural space behind the implementation of the said technological model and world consequences it presented to the Mexican population.
From then, arose the interest in studying the rural spaces through agriculture, or rather, adopting as the focal point that permit us to understand the changes happened the rural spaces above all, after the decade of 1940’s with the implementation of the technological model in agriculture.
