Abstract

Luiz Beltrão Cavalcanti de Albuquerque Maranhão Filho, from Pernambuco, born in the capital Recife, on January 1, 1933, inherited his father's name. Radio broadcaster, with professional performance at Rádio Clube de Pernambuco. The radio station was founded on April 6, 1919. It was on this centenary radio station that the father, director of dramaturgy, counted on his son to interpret children's voices from the editions of radio soap operas and radio theaters he produced. The boy's first steps towards the profession he would follow from there on, began in 1940. From there, he never stopped. He also became a playwright, journalist, lawyer, university professor, doctor of communication and author of 30 books. Being that, the activity of writer continues, as well as the work in the position of president of the Historical Institute of Olinda.

Professor of Journalism, Radialism and Advertising and Propaganda at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi.
