Abstract

This article seeks to intend and investigate the incorporation of The piauí Herald blog into journalistic “patchwork”. We ask ourselves how the phenomenon articulates different information to compose a miscellany of news capable of covering different events, in addition to trying to understand how the blog plays with the typical conventions of the journalistic genre, while building informative texts, although ironic and humorous. Through Ricoeur's narrative conception and Hutcheon's contributions, in his study of modern parodies, an attempt is made to trace a new understanding of the humorous blog.
