Abstract

This text presents the potential of the citation work in dance, approaching this act as a driving force. Then, with a genealogical look at the history of dance, it debates the rerun and circulation of past gestures in contemporary creations.

    Professora do Departamento de dança da Universidade Paris 8 e integrante do laboratório de pesquisa Musidanse (França). Autora de diversos livros sobre dança moderna e contemporânea, entre eles Poétique et politique des répertoires: les danses d’après, I (2017) e Cultures de l’oubli et citation: les danses d’après II (2018), publicados pelo Centre National de la Danse.
