The use of multimedia in process of teaching-learning of School General Municipal Rodrigo Otavio – GMRO

Abstract

The study presents, second our observation, the use of Multimedia also labeled the Audiovisual in General Municipal Rodrigo Otavio (GMRO). Adopted School Library and Multimedia as the theoretical presenting a list of definitions and categorizations. Discusses the Mary Ruth de Souza's Library and his Multimedia Section for the purpose, from a methodological approach consisting of techniques (literature, descriptive and observation), present the use of the Multimedia by officials GMRO. Demonstrates as a result of research the interest in Multimedia by students; the absence of librarians; and the absence of investiment, planning activities and dissemination of Multimedia. The conclusion presents the need of adopt actions to the use of Multimedia by school officials in teaching-learning process, especially teachers, and conducting new studies to monitor and verify if the proposed actions have actually been applied, and that how these contributed to the process of educational institution. Finally, in all education institutions, research like this should be done, since the library provides the extension of education.
