Abstract

The mediation of information and literature that happen with the Thumb Generation is considered a novel theme for discussion in the context of the school library. Thus, the aim of the paper is to demonstrate the nuances of information mediation from the perspective of ICT with children and young people of the Thumb Generation. As a bibliographic study we mainly pointed that there are several attractive possibilities based on technology to mediate information for this Generation. We hope to collaborate with the literature of the area and instigate new research that approach librarians from school libraries and their users increasingly eager for technology, information and literature.
