Piromorfita em Araçariguama

Crystals of pyromorphite were found in the old gold mine of Araqariguama (State of Sao Paulo), as an unusual component in veins of auriferous quartz. They are perfect, double-ended, not altered crystals, measuring from a few millimeters to microscopic sizes. The habitus prevailing is prismatic, rarely pyramidal.
