Biologia de Serolis completa (Crustacea, Isopoda, Flabellifera) I: estádios de desenvolvimento

Abstract

An account is given for the developmental stages of Serolis completa, collected in the neighborhood of Ilha Sumitica, São Paulo State, about Lat. 23º50'S, between 30-60 m depth. All stages were characterized and briefly described. The principal features used for the characterization of the stages were the development of pereopod II, pereopod VII, male appendix masculinum, oostegites and setal pattern.
