Focus and Scope

The journal publishes the results of original scientific research developed by Brazilian and foreign investigators in any field of Botany.

The journal publishes original scientific articles in any field of Botany, mainly Morfology, Anatomy, Ecology, Physiology, Phytogeography, Phytochemistry, Systematics.  Revisions and scientific notes will be accepted in special cases.  Manuscripts submited will be analysed by peer review - Editorial Comission  is assisted by no less than two referees.

    Journal History

    The journal started in1973. The currrent Boletim de Botânica is in fact a sequence of the Botanical series of the former Boletim da Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras da USP , which was published from1937 up to 1969.
