Abstract

Myrsinaceae in Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais, Brasil, comprises 11 species on three genera: Anagallis pumila L., Cybianthus alpestris (Warm.) Mez, C. brasiliensis (Mez) G. Agostini, C. coriaceus Mart., C. detergens Mart., Myrsine cipoensis M. F. Freitas & L. S. Kinoshita, M. congesta (Sw.) Pipoly, M. coriacea (Sw.) R.Br. ex Roem. & Schult., M. gardneriana A.DC., M. monticola Mart. and M. umbellata Mart. Cybianthus alpestris and Myrsine cipoensis are restricted to the rocky fields of the Serra do Cipó. Keys to the identification, descriptions and illustrations of the species are provided.
