Flora of the Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais: Bromeliaceae – Bromelioideae

The taxonomic treatment of Bromelioideae (Bromeliaceae) for the project “Flora of Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais, Brasil” is presented. The subfamily is represented in the study area by 12 genera and 19 species: Acanthostachys (1 species), Aechmea (4 species), Ananas (1 species), Billbergia (4 species), Bromelia (1 species), Cryptanthus (1 species), Eduandrea (1 species), Lapanthus (1 species), Neoregelia (2 species), Orthophytum (1 species), Quesnelia (1 species) and Wittrockia (1 species). Descriptions and illustrations as well as comments on the taxonomy, geographic distribution, phenology, and keys to genera and species are provided.Downloads
