This article aims the analysis of Voltaire’s works, in the book “Voltaire’s Life”, written by Condorcet, when Voltaire’s complete works were published in 1789. Condorcet in this book specifically discusses the works of the philosopher and its repercussions, that is, he shows how Voltaire used his pen to promote a kind of struggle against injustice, prejudice and disrespect for natural rights. Condorcet, in writing the book, mirrors the way he draws inspiration for his work both as philosopher and as political during the events of the French Revolution. This discussion of the work of Voltaire pointed out also that Condorcet shows, in a way, his vision of how to be a philosopher, what is his role facing the challenges of his time and how one should act to combat the ills present among men.
