Abstract

We intend to demonstrate with this work how the plural personal pronoun “we” plays a key role in Nietzsche's philosophy regarding the relationship between friendship and philosophy. The pivot center of this relationship is the notion that friendship is a pre-rational space for sharing experiences (with a living-together) and, as such, a space feasibility of the new form of philosophy proposed by Nietzsche, that which articulates thought and life. For the sake of this point, we will analyze the use of suspicion as a philosophical strategy, how “we” can be understood as a critique of metaphysical atomism of the self and the need of communication and, finally, how this new form of philosophy is carried out as a sharing of happiness. Friendship is a privileged space in which philosophy is not just a way of thinking but a way of life
