The objective of this paper is to present what is called thought of the ethical, according to the ethical and political context of the works of the french-algerian philosopher Jacques Derrida. This argumentation is an attempt to demonstrate how the dimension of the ethical is correlated to what Derrida calls unconditional hospitality. Through the deconstruction perspective it is indicated that the ethical, as unconditional hospitality, is defined by welcoming the other without restrictions. With that, the intention is to shift the discussion about otherness from its tradicional perspective to new possibilities for the coming of the other, starting from the ethical-political dimension, as presented by Derrida.Downloads
