Abstract

Our goal is to reflect on the indifference function, as an affect valued by the sadian economy of the passions or his ethical knowledge, in its relation to the praise of the stoicism and apathy made by Sade. For this, we question the role of nature as a criterion of values and, as its corollary, also the selfishness as a driving force of mankind.
