O ensino e a cultura literária nas escolas do Ensino Médio em Roraima/Brasil

The article aims to verify how the teaching of Literature and literary culture materializes in the school curriculum of the high school state schools in Roraima / Brazil. This work is part of the doctoral thesis in Education: Curriculum, entitled The Continuing Education of Teachers of Regionalist Literature and the Curriculum of Secondary Education in Roraima / Brazil, defended in 2017 at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. The locus of the research was eight regular high school state schools in the municipalities of Boa Vista, Bonfim, Caracaraí, Pacaraima and Rorainópolis and had as subjects twenty teachers trained in Letters and who teach in the third year of High School. For operationalization the research had as methodological proposal the qualitative approach in a multiple case study. The research was based on the principles that the discussions about teaching and the literary culture developed in the schools go through the formation of the citizenship of its subjects and the sharing of knowledge, values and the articulation between theory and practice in changing formative contexts.
