Since the 90´s researches have indicated significant changes in Pentescotal movements taking place in our societies. The flexibilization of customary behavior and moral standards, the development of new strategies in recruiting followers, the increasing investment in media as well as the increasing participation Pentecostals and Neo-Pentecostals in formal political arenas are among the various tendences that have been identified by researchers. In this paper I address the issues concerned to the connections and articulations between the tendences related to media and politics and also point ou that philanthrop constitutes a new arm in Pentescotal organizations which enlarges their capacity of influencing Brazilian public spheres.Downloads
