Abstract

In this article we discusses how the ideas of Michel Foucault has been incorporated by Sociology in Brazil. Initialy, based on some of his main works, we draw the intellectual trajectory of the author. After that, we analyse how these studies have taken to hte problem of the constitution of the so called disciplinary society in that country.
