Abstract

The main goal of this text is to examine the contemporary historic and cultural processes of the formation of the Jewish identity and imaginary in Brazil as an integral part of the general formulations about national identity and their mutual links to other identitarian micronarratives that compose it as a way to evaluate the different “weighs” attributed to it in our sense of cultural belonging.
