Abstract

This text presents information about the press and the production of books in Hebrew, their dissemination in several important places, where one glimpses the formation and institutionalization of Hispano-Portuguese Judaism in Europe, mainly after the expulsion of the Jews from the Iberian peninsula, as well as serving as a basis for the formation of Moroccan Judaism in the Amazon By problematizing this institutionalization of the graphic production of Jewish books, a relationship with the consolidation of Moroccan Judaism in the Amazon is perceived, also seeking to point out observations from the Amazonian reality collected through interviews with key personalities in Moroccan Judaism in the Amazon. Livorno represented the catalyst for the modus vivendi development of Sephardic Judaism in the great diaspora.
