Abstract

A review of the book Cultura Amazônica. Uma poética do imaginário (Amazonian Culture: poetics of the imaginary) by João Paes Loureiro. It points out the author's approach to the tales and myths of the region culture, on how they express the relationship between man and nature, and their social-economical and political contingencies.
