Abstract

The author discusses the importance of History in building the communication/education fields. She analyses the historical knowledge as a condition in order to relate past facts to the present, noticing, by this, the changes - and things that have not changed - and how these are updated day by day, managing the future. The capability of understanding History in the communication/education fields is even more important nowadays due to the preponderance of the accounts mediated by mass communication to relay the version of happenings.
