The article deals with the Reception studies in the mass communications from the perspective of the communications field, in other words, as a process of interaction and dialogue between the subjects – emitters and receptors as constituents of the mediation. The reception studies, from this point of view, are interested in the sociocultural characteristics of the receptors and in how they perform on the meaning and re-meaning, in dialogue and in the cultural practices that take place in the field of communications.
