The author brings up the problem of the loss of hegemony of the social individual in contemporaneousness in order to stress the importance of the student as an active receptor, a part of the necessary dialogue between the emitter/professor-receptor/student in the educational process. He emphasizes the fact that the school institution cannot continue locked-up in an authoritarian discourse. It must be opened up to concrete experiences that young people go through. Such experiences are now commonly being mediated by the means of communication. That is why it is so important that the communication/education and teacher/emitter interrelationship be open to dialogue with the student/receptor, since this barrier will only accentuate this institution's inefficiency.
