Abstract

The author introduces the importance of the means of mass communications – from books to newspapers – for modern society and the influence they have had on human behavior and proposes two activities to be carried out in the classroom based on the articles published in the 24th issue of Comunicação & Educação. The first one proposes a reflection on using television in the classroom, while the second one suggests discussing, through photography, images as a representation of reality.
