Abstract

USP’s Science Training Program for Secondary Education, constituted by research scholarships for public schools students, is
an innovational initiative oriented to bring together High School and the University, promoting students personal and professional
development, as well educative and scientific activities in the University. Because of this program’s social and pedagogic importance, its coordinator, Prof. Dr. Pedro Bombonato, was invited to be our interviewee.
