Abstract

This issue’s activities are organized in three axes for reflexion. The first one proposes the analysis the experience of being young starting from the socializing dimension of music, bringing to school music as language and studying its mediator
potential for objective and subjective realities in face of the law that makes mandatory its teaching in public schools. The second one proposes to analyze the relation between the
phonographic industry and the youth with digital technologies of creation, recording, distribution and consumption of music, generating the sharing of online contents and the strengthening of independent production. Giving continuity to this reflexion, we propose the activity that deals with the democratic access to media. In the third ax, we retake
the issue of youth, its identity and memories from collections that can collaborate for its formation of critical reader, making them able to look at advertising as knowledge recorder in several areas of society.
