School Media: The Citizenship in the Educommunication Practice

The notion of citizenship is appropriate for various social fields, especially education, which, through the development of communication practices, re-introduces new questions and important issues about the relationship between education and the media. Thus, this study aims to understand how the notion of citizenship is woven from educomunicacionais practices, starring elementary students from Porto Alegre, both attached to the project Students Network – Media School. From the research participant, analyze testimonies of teachers and students, which shows that the concept of citizenship in practice educommunication is reconstructed in the possibilities of access and technological appropriation, in the realization of networks and pedagogical practices and spaces of production and delivery content.
