The author traces, briefly, his professional trajectory as a professor at USP’s School of Communications and Arts and as the creator of cartoons aimed at critical commentary on advertising. He highlights the introductory text of a chapter of Nélson Cadena’s book Brasil 100 anos de propaganda (Brazil, 100 years of advertising) that makes reference to his work. And, finally, he offers several of his cartoons, with comments by José Francisco Queiroz, in the book Humor de Placa (or, Great Humor) published in 2001.
