Abstract

The article aims at performing a brbliometric study of Cornunicaçiia & Educação, from 1994 to 2001, totaling 21 volumes. Bibliometric studies is an area of Information Science and it brings up the most quoted autho~ in a scientific field and how such authors, coming from distinçt areaç, contribute to such field.The author surveys the most quoted authors in the magazine's national and international articles, identiíying their aneaç of origin and commenting the mntributions Communiçations have made. Furthermore, çhe points to the lack of authorial referentes in Education, especially in forming the field of Educommunication.
