Abstract

In the wake of the debate on vocational training in the field of Museology, it is time to analyze the graduate course in Museology in Brazil, searching, at first, to identify the initiatives carried out during the 1960s and 1970s, from the constitution of Museology as a disciplinary field. In this article, we will try to cooperate with a cut in this mapping to examine a set of documents, located in Museology Memory Center in Brazil (NUMMUS/CCH/UNIRIO), relating to scholarships funded by public and private entities in Portugal within the graduate during the 1960s and 1970s. These scholarships were granted by the graduates from the Museum Course of the National Historical Museum (MHN) in the various interfaces of the field of Museology.
