Abstract

This paper presents technical details and a reflection on aspects related to natural history museum collections, highlighting the process of restoration and exhibition of five medium-sized mammals from South America, for exhibitions promoted by the Museum of Zoology, University of São Paulo and in partnership with a cultural institution and National University of Rio de Janeiro.
