The sense of not belonging in the strem of consciousness in Dulce Maria Cardoso’s Os meus sentimentos

Abstract

The proposed research seeks to understand how the stream of consciousness builds, in Cardoso's novel, the sense of not belonging that it thematizes. The theoretical base used concerns social psychology and the stream of consciousness, constituted respectively by Mind, Self e Sociedade, the propositions of George H. Mead organized by Charles W. Morris; and "A meia marrom" (2002: 471-498), by Auerbach.
