Abstract

This article intends to analyze the novel Becos da memória, by Conceição Evaristo (2006), in which the female characters assume the protagonism of the work. From the problematization of authorship, from the point of view adopted by the author and the representations made by her in that work, we intend to explore the universe of Evaristo's writing, which promotes the assumption of a story-another through the enunciation of voices silenced throughout history.
