Abstract

This article aims to discuss how the representations of the body in the cinema of David Cronenberg indicate an important dissociation between pleasure and jouissance. Such dissociation should be evaluated taking into account its political dimension, opening ao other dimension for what we always understood by “critique of fetichism”.
