Filosofia e humanidades, normatividade crítica e virada linguística, de um ponto de vista materialista prático-poético

Abstract

The text deals with critical philosophy and the humanities in relation to their linguistic turn of recent decades, especially their developments in the field of ‘critical theories’ broad sense. Focusing on the normativity that they have assumed, they are discussed also in their relations with Marx and Pragmatism, that are today, together with the linguistic turn itself, possibly the most relevant theoretical influences in the area. They are still critically discussed in relation to the author’s own practical-poietic, materialist point of view, with allusions to related Brazilian antecedents. All of that with attention to the practical-political consequences of the mentioned ‘linguistifying’ development, that today extends throughout the world way beyond the academy. Also with attention, on the other hand, to a demand for decolonization and for a productive, autonomous disposition for philosophy and the humanities in Brazil.
