Abstract

Scarlett Marton has developed a systematic interpretation of Nietzsche’s oeuvre, linking cosmology, ethics and theory of knowledge. At the core of this interpretation lies the concept of will to power. Marton takes this concept as a point of departure for presenting a particular answer to the tension between the cosmological and ethical reading of eternal recurrence. My article exposes and assesses Marton’s interpretation of these pivotal topics, stressing its importance for Nietzsche studies in Brazil.
