Impact evaluation of Prouni on the students’ Enade score

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Prouni effect throughout the grade distribution of students in the Enade exam from 2015 to 2017. In this sense, the treatment quantile effect was estimated using Firpo (2007) method. The results indicated that the Prouni impact was positive throughout the score distribution, especially for students who received a full scholarship. The impact was also greater for students who declare family income of 3 minimum wages or less and for those enrolled in institutions with a 4 and 5 quality concept.
