In this paper we present some estimates of the long and short term relationships between the state GDP and state exports, state government investment, federal government expenditures at state level, state expenditures in education, health and public sewage and private investment, form all three states of the Southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Parana) The estimation is performed using both the Engle-Granger and the Johansen procedures. The results were quite satisfactory for the States of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, but for Parana was not possible to find a cointegration relationship in the data.
