Résumé

It is aimed to bring into evidence peculiarities of setsuwa, gender that had its apogee in Kamakura period (12th - 14th ce.), through narrative study that presents similar characteristics of mukashi banashi (old tales). The figure of the old man with a wen, actually one of mukashi banashi most popular figures, will be revisited and reconsidered, in this article, like a setsuwa typical character.
