Análise do significado do verbo ORU e suas expressões sob a perspectiva da semântica cognitiva

Résumé

Through the perspective and methods of Cognitive Semantics，we attempt to analyse the meaning of the verb oru，oreru and their extensions，including metaphorical expressions and idioms. We start presenting some limits of the formal theory and propose how the cognitive model improves the description of the complexities of the meanings systematically. We will focus on the process of meaning construction based on structures of human cognition which are intimately related to experience and knowledge of the world.
