Résumé

During Heian period (794-1192), Yin Yang Masters belonged to Imperial Palace’s regular servants and held notorious prestige. Ceremonies and official events, the Palace and public buildings construction or refurnishing,and even everyday life's orientations such as diseases healings or nails cuts followed rules or foresees established by the meritorious masters. This article aims to point out some aspects on Yin Yang Masters role upon Heian aristocratic society,based in the Abeno Seimei narrative from Konjaku Monogatarishü.
