Análisis bibliométrico de la Inteligencia Artificial y la enseñanza de la lengua

La inteligencia artificial (IA) ha revolucionado diversos ámbitos, entre ellos la educación y, de manera más específica, los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de idiomas. La presente investigación pretende analizar cómo han evolucionado las investigaciones acerca del uso de la IA en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de idiomas a través de un análisis bibliométrico que permita identificar temas, tendencias, autores e instituciones de diferentes países más significativos en este ámbito. Para realizar el análisis de los datos (1347 registros de la base Scopus desde 1971 hasta 2025) se utilizó el paquete R “bibliometrix” (versión 4.3.0) en la interfaz RStudio 224.12.0+467. En cuanto a los resultados, se evidencia que la mayor parte de documentos pertenecen a revistas científicas y comunicaciones de congresos, siendo China y Estados Unidos los países líderes; los documentos más citados coinciden con clústeres de investigación con alta centralidad, por ejemplo, aquellos que abordan el uso de ChatGPT en la enseñanza de idiomas, en cambio, los temas emergentes tienen un impacto menos significativo. A modo de conclusión, el estudio evidencia que las investigaciones relacionadas con la IA están mostrando un crecimiento constante durante los últimos veinte años en el marco de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la lengua, aunque aún queda mucho por investigar en este campo, especialmente, en España.
