Abstract

At its stablishment as a scientific project, semiotics has taken imperfectivity as part of its approach and reiterates at the same time the need to take upcoming discursive objects into consideration. On this particular issue, as information technologies have evolved in the last years, the development of electronic media has become noteworthy. Besides their singularities, they also make possible through code combination to recall other texts by giving them new meaning, whether they are complementary or not. Considering these points, this study aims to analyze from the tensive point of view how meaning effects are generated in the video “The boy and the river” from the show “Crianceiras”, in which the singer and composer Márcio de Camillo reviews the poetry of Manoel de Barros.
